DARO: Under the 2023 Phase 1 of the Minor Rural Project – Sarawak Poor Home Improvement Project (MRP-PPRMS), 41 houses in the Daro constituency have received upgrades.
Daro assemblyman Safiee Ahmad said that this contributes to the total repair of 571 houses in the area since 2018.
The Sarawak government’s initiative, providing funds to elected representatives for local assistance, has benefited the people.
“This is because we as elected representatives can help to repair the homes of those in need promptly, addressing issues such as leaks and wear and tear, and providing them with more comfortable living conditions,” said Safiee during a visit to several houses under the programme recently.
Additionally, Safiee distributed food baskets to the households, further supporting the community.
