KUCHING: Assistant Minister of Transport Datuk Dr Jerip Susil is now free of the Covid-19 infection after both of his tests came back negative.
“I would like to inform you that my infection of Covid-19 had been tested twice negative, which means I am now clear of the infection,” he said in his Facebook post yesterday.
He said however he will continue to observe self-quarantine until April 21.
“I sincerely want to thank you all for your concern and prayers,” he said.
He also expressed his gratitude to all doctors and other frontliners who tirelessly took good care of him and the other patients.
Dr Jerip was tested positive on April 2 and was treated at Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) Kuching.
It was reported that he had contracted the disease from one of his workers who later tested positive for Covid-19 after having contact with someone in the Good News Fellowship Conference Church cluster.
