KUCHING: Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian made a short visit to Kuching South City Council (MBKS) at Jalan Padungan here on Monday.
According to a statement from MBKS yesterday, he was welcomed by the council’s mayor Datuk Wee Hong Seng.
During the visit, Wee briefly explained the standard operating procedures (SOPs) that MBKS complied with in order to ensure that staff and the public practised safety precautions and social distancing.
This was to ensure the smoothness of MBKS’ operations during this conditional movement control order (CMCO) period.
