MUKAH: Balingian assemblyman Abdul Yakub Arbi last Sunday (Aug 23) joined a gotong-royong (group work) programme to repair the jetty of Kampung Teh here.
The programme was initiated by Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Balingian Youth and PBB Kampung Teh Youth.
Abdul Yakub thanked the villagers for their cooperation.
“I strongly support the efforts of young people who are active in community work,” he said at the event.
