159 villagers take part in AADK training programme

KUCHING: Demak Laut assemblyman Dr Hazland Abang Hipni officiated at the closing ceremony of the Training of Trainings (TOT) programme organised by the National Anti Dadah Agency (AADK) programme at Bako, near here, yesterday.

A total of 159 participants comprising village JKKKs, PBB and Saberkas members from 13 villages in Bako took part in the programme

The participants were exposed to the dangers of drug abuse among youths and how to identify drug addicts.

The main objective of the programme was to form anti-drug squads among the villagers so that they could bring to the attention of drug activities among the youths to the authorities concerned.
