KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg made a wise decision to seek the advice of health experts on when to call the state election, said Batu Kitang assemblyman Lo Khere Chiang.
“The chief minister made a wise decision. He knows best on what to do.
“There is no need to speculate any further. Let us leave the final decision to the chief minister,” he told New Sarawak Tribune on Saturday (Oct 24).
On Friday, Abang Johari said he will seek the advice of health experts before deciding on the election date.
He said what is important is that Sarawak needs a government that has the mandate so that it can focus on managing Covid-19 and the economy.
