SIBU: The Sibu Rural District Council (SRDC) office located at Wisma Sanyan will be closed from Tuesday (Sept 7) until September 10.
According to its chairman Sempurai Petrus Ngelai in a statement, the closure was done following some of its staff having tested positive for Covid-19.
“The office will be temporarily closed starting tomorrow until Friday for sanitisation purposes.
“Those who have close contact with the Covid-19 positive staff are also advised to go for a PCR test tomorrow,” he said.
Members of the public who wish to do any business with the council must strictly adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the safety and wellbeing of all.
