KUCHING: Pakatan Harapan (PH) Sarawak wants Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg to name his preferred choice of prime minister after the 15th general election (GE15).
“You (Abang Johari) are a leader of a coalition contesting in 31 parliamentary constituencies and we all know that 31 out of the total of 222 seats (in Parliament) do not have the majority (to form a federal government).
“Definitely, he has his choice of prime minister. So, who is that person?” asked PH Sarawak chairman Chong Chieng Jen during a press conference yesterday.
Chong, who is contesting as the PH candidate in Stampin, had also posted a similar challenge to the GPS-SUPP candidates for Bandar Kuching Eric Tay Tze Kok and Lo Khere Chiang (Stampin) on who is their preferred choice of prime minister.
