SPAOH: Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas presented grants to 22 village security and development committees (JKKK) in Kampung Spaoh here on today (April 6).
The Bukit Saban assemblyman said the grants amounted to RM261,000.
He also presented similar grants to Masjid Darul Syifa and 10 surau.
Masjid Darul Syifa received RM10,000 while each of the surau received RM5,000.
The presentation was attended by Betong MP Dr Richard Rapu and held at the Spaoh Sub-District Office.
Dr Richard also chipped in with RM38,000 from his parliamentary allocation to the same mosque and surau.
