BAU: In a laudable act of corporate social responsibility (CSR), Mas Gading Community College (KKMG) has started on the construction of a wudhu area and renovation of the prayer room at the Sarawak Cultural Village’s (SCV) Malay House.
In a statement today (Sept 12), this CSR initiative saw the involvement of 18 students from the Certificate of Information Technology course.
Along with their instructors, this project serves multiple purposes. Firstly, it provides the students with an opportunity to embrace the spirit of volunteerism. Additionally, it offers them a respite from their regular classroom routine, helping them de-stress.
The experience also aims to enhance the students’ soft skills, benefiting the participants immensely.
SCV public relations executive Ibrahim Abdullah was among the guests who welcomed the KKMG team during this programme.
