SIBU: Yong Ing Chu, the Secretary of the Sibu Municipal Council, announced that the Sibu Central Market Multi-Storey Carpark will temporarily transition to manual payment without hourly charges.
This adjustment is necessary due to ongoing upgrades to the parking system, which could disrupt the regular payment process at the car park from September 29 to October 7.
During this period of system upgrades, hourly payments will be suspended. Instead, a flat fee of RM 1.00 per entry will be collected manually. Once the system enhancements are finalized, hourly charges will be reinstated,” he stated in a release issued on Thursday.
He also conveyed his apologies for any inconvenience this may cause to the public.”
