KUCHING: When a hotel staff at King Centre here realised that a guest has not checked out for three days, he decided to check his room.
But to his horror, he found the guest was naked and lifeless.
Immediately after the discovery, the hotel staff contacted the Sekama police station.
Paramedics later confirmed that the guest had died.
The deceased identified as Chong Lian Seng, 45, of Taman Kurniaman, Sri Aman was found dead at 12.30am yesterday.
According to the staff member, Chong used to put up at the hotel while on business trips here.
The auto repair shop worker checked into the hotel on February 25 at 11.30pm.
Chong’s daughter, when told of her father’s death, said that her father had high blood pressure and was also a diabetic.
His remains were taken to the Sarawak General Hospital’s morgue and a post mortem would be conducted.
Police have ruled out any foul play after checking Chong’s room.
