KUCHING: The Big Bad Wolf Kuching 2025, known as the world’s largest book sale, is expecting around 55,000 visitors over its nine-day run.
According to Chloe Lim, Sponsorships, Partnerships & PR Senior Manager at Big Bad Wolf Books Sdn Bhd, the team is hoping to see higher footfall in the coming days, especially after the recent rainy weather and other events held over the weekend.
“We have thousands of English book titles, and we’ve brought in even more this time. After Tuesday (Sept 30), we expect the crowd to pick up. What matters most is making sure everyone can access books.
“Reading feels like a privilege sometimes, but we want to give that same chance to those who might not have it,” she told Sarawak Tribune at the book sale held at The Hills, Kuching.
To reward returning customers, Lim said there is a RM15 rebate with a minimum spend of RM60 on a different day from their original purchase.

In addition, RM5 cash vouchers are being given out to the public over the next few days.
Meanwhile, for Maybank cardholders, Lim said they are entitled to a 10 per cent discount with a minimum spend of RM150 in a single receipt, while students, educators, and civil servants can enjoy a five percent discount with no minimum spend.
There is also an on-ground contest where every RM100 spent in a single receipt counts as one entry.
Winners, to be announced on Oct 4, stand a chance to win various prizes, including an iPad, Samsung Galaxy Buds 3, and TNG Voucher.
Lim said Big Bad Wolf is also offering unbelievable deals starting as low as RM3 and committed to touring nationwide.
“That’s why this round from September until November, our stop is Kuching, followed by Miri then to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. We try to accommodate all our fans who follow us,” she added.
Following the Kuching stop, the East Malaysia tour will continue at Boulevard Shopping Mall, Miri, from Oct 23 to Nov 3, before heading to the Sabah International Convention Centre, Kota Kinabalu, from Nov 12 to 16.
