SIBU: The Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) Dudong Service Centre here distributed funds totalling RM415,000 to 15 non-governmental organisations (NGOs) on Friday.

PDP Dudong Division Chairman, Datuk Teo Boon Siew, said the distribution of funds was a special allocation from the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing.

He said that this proves that Tiong, who is also the Dudong Assemblyman, has never forgotten the people in his constituency even though he was unable to attend to present the funds to the respective NGOs.

“The recipients must use the allocated money appropriately according to their applications. Do not use it for other purposes, because you need to show all the allocation transactions,” he said at the fund presentation event held at PDP Dudong Service Centre.

“To ensure that this allocation is used for the right purpose, you need to provide us with before and after photos and all the details of the project,” he stressed.
