KUCHING: The quarter-final stage of the Sarawak Premier League 2025 is set to kick off on Jan 10, 2026, featuring a series of high-stakes clashes involving the top eight teams from two zones.
The Northern Zone will be represented by Bintulu, Miri, Limbang and Kapit, while Serian, Kuching, Samarahan and PDRM will fly the flag for the Southern Zone.
Sarawak Football Association (FAS) president, Datuk Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman, said the quarter-finals will be played on a two-leg, home-and-away basis.
“The first-leg quarter-final matches will be played simultaneously on Jan 10, 2026, involving all eight qualified teams,” he said after an FAS meeting at a named hotel recently.
The second-leg quarter-finals are scheduled for Jan 17, 2026.
Fazzrudin added that the semi-finals will follow the same two-leg format.
“The first-leg semi-finals are scheduled for Jan 24, 2026, followed by the return legs a week later on Jan 31, 2026,” he said.
He noted that the final date has yet to be confirmed, with Feb 7 or Feb 14, 2026, currently being considered.
Also present at the meeting were FAS deputy president Datuk Hamzah Brahim, vice-presidents and several executive committee members.
