ENGKILILI: An 84-year-old man has been reported missing after leaving his longhouse at TR Richard Tawan, Tebarong, Lubok Skrang, to seek treatment at a clinic.
The missing man was identified as Igoh Sengaling, 84.
According to the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), he was last seen leaving his home at about 7am on Feb 18 in his own boat to collect medication from Skim Skrang Clinic.
Family members said he did not return home after completing his errand.
Relatives and longhouse residents conducted a search around the longhouse area and nearby forest over two days but found no trace of him.
A police report was lodged at about 7.51pm yesterday (Feb 19).
A search operation by Bomba personnel from the Betong station is scheduled to begin today (Feb 20) following coordination with the police.
