KUCHING: The Kuching Urban Branch (KUB) of the Dayak Bidayuh National Association (DBNA) has elected a new line-up of office bearers for the 2026-2028 term during its triennial general meeting (TGM) held at the DBNA headquarters on Friday (Mar 13).
Joseph Jindy Peter Rosen was returned unopposed as chairman, continuing his leadership of the urban branch for another term, while Dr Bernard Stephen Jussem was elected as the new deputy chairman, replacing James Nahar.
Meanwhile, William Muge was elected as secretary, with Grace Kimneo appointed as assistant secretary.
The position of treasurer was held by Clement Hyacinth, while James Nahar Goel was elected assistant treasurer.
Seven members were also elected to serve as executive committee (EXCO) members, namely Jerry Ruki, Dr Kismet Hong Ping, Rachel Sinung, Ozie Tungging, Bryan Benjamin Dominic, Joseph Jacobson and Jessy Sujang.
The meeting, which brought together members of the branch to review its progress and chart the direction for the next term, was officiated by DBNA president, Datuk Ik Pahon Joyik.
Meanwhile, the newly elected EXCO also reappointed Rayang Narong as internal auditor for the new term.
The election process during the meeting was conducted by returning officers, Bronnie Marshall Benedict and Dr Clarence Jerry.
