SIBU: Emergency services responded to a call for assistance to carry a dead man out of a two-storey house.

The victm’s remains being loaded onto a police 4X4 vehicle.

The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department received a call to assist to carry a victim out from a house at a residential area in Sibujaya at 7.25am this morning.

A team from the Sibujaya fire station was dispatched to the location and arrived at the house at 7.30am along with other emergency services personnel.

“The victim was a 41-year-old man, who weighs 176kg, and was pronounced dead by medical officials.

“Firefighters and police personnel worked together to bring down the victim from a two-storey house.

“The remains of the victim were loaded into a police 4X4 vehicle to be transported to a medical facility,” it said.

The operation ended at 9.47am.
