SIBU: Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) has appointed several leaders to key positions as part of efforts to strengthen the party’s leadership and administration.

PBM secretary-general Munan Laja said the appointments were approved during the party’s supreme council meeting in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday (Aug 16).

The appointments include Ronnie Liu Thian Kiew as Head of Information, William Low as deputy head of information, Benny Sich (treasurer) and Sich Ing Qing (deputy treasurer).

Munan said the party president had also appointed Engga’s Unchat and Saarah Ali Bashah as supreme council members.

“These appointments are expected to further strengthen PBM’s leadership and machinery, as well as enhance the spirit of cooperation and commitment among all parties in taking the party to a higher level,” he said.

He added that PBM was confident the strengthened leadership would continue to make positive contributions towards expanding the party’s work and strengthening its struggle and aspirations for the people.

Munan said the party would continue to focus on strengthening its organisation and administration to better serve the people.
