KUCHING: Several road closures in the city remain in effect until Sunday (Sept 6), to facilitate utilities relocation works.
Sarawak Metro said the affected areas include the slip road from Jalan Laksamana Cheng Ho to Jalan Tun Jugah, as well as a section of the road at the Simpang Tiga roundabout near the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) building.
The junction from Jalan Jelutong to Jalan Tun Jugah is also temporarily closed.
“The closures are in place to facilitate daily utilities relocation works, which are being carried out from 8 am to 5 pm from Sept 2 until Sept 6,” Sarawak Metro said on their Facebook post last night (Sept 3).
Motorists are advised to follow all traffic management measures, road signages and speed limits when travelling through the affected areas.
