KUCHING: The Sarawak government has extended its condolences and deepest sympathy to the families and next-of-kin of the Flying Doctor Service (FDS) personnel involved in the helicopter crash near Long Lellang.
In a statement, it expressed its appreciation for the victims’ service, dedication, courage and sacrifice in delivering healthcare services to communities, particularly those living in remote areas.
“Their service, dedication, courage and sacrifice in providing healthcare services to the community, especially in rural areas, will always be remembered and appreciated,” it said.
The state government also conveyed its sympathy to the bereaved families and prayed that they would be granted strength, resilience and patience in facing the loss of their loved ones.
The helicopter carrying the FDS team was involved in the crash near Long Lellang, Marudi.
