MIRI: A girl was found dead by her family members yesterday in what appeared to be a suicide in a room of their house at Tudan phase 4 here at noon yesterday.
Miri police chief ACP Lim Meng Seah said the police had ruled out foul play as no criminal elements were found on the body.
“The case has been classified as sudden death,” he said.
According to Lim, the girl, 24, was found hanging from a window grille inside her room by her younger brother.
He had knocked on her room door. “When the knocks were left unanswered, the family members forced open the door and to their horror, found the girl hanging from a window grille,” Lim said.
The girl was a managing a barbecue stall at Tudan.
