KUCHING: A local man escaped unscathed after his sports utility vehicle (SUV) crashed along Jalan Sekama this afternoon (June 12).
The accident happened around 1.50pm when the vehicle reportedly skidded and crashed into the roadside.
Firefighters from Padungan station was dispatched to the scene after receiving a distress call.
Upon arrival, they confirmed that the vehicle had crashed sideways above the roadside drain and no one was trapped inside.
The 55-year-old driver managed to exit the vehicle with help from the public and he did not sustain any injuries.
