KUCHING: A total of 151 recipients were conferred state honours by Head of State, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, during the State Honours Investiture Ceremony at the Astana Negeri Sarawak today.
The investiture began with the presentation of the ‘Pegawai Bintang Kenyalang’ (PBK) award to 13 recipients.
They were Dr Zainal Abiddin Masleh, Abang Ahmad Abang Abdul Wahab, Abang Zamari Abang Nazarin, Dau Utau, Faridzul Abdullah, Jumari Hashim, Louis Yeo Soon Guan, Richard Mulok Entring, Rabuan Mantine, Samsudin Drahman, Dayang Mariana Abang Bolhassan, Jamilah Bujang, and Sharifah Liz Faraawati Wan Omar.
The ceremony continued with the conferment of the ‘Pingat Perkhidmatan Bakti’ (PPB) award on 20 recipients, followed by 13 recipients of the ‘Ahli Bintang Sarawak’ (ABS) award.
A further 27 recipients received the ‘Ahli Bintang Kenyalang’ (ABK) honour, while 35 individuals were awarded the ‘Pingat Perkhidmatan Terpuji’ (PPT) award.
The investiture concluded with 43 recipients receiving the ‘Bentara Bintang Sarawak’ (BBS) award.
Wan Junaidi was accompanied by his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi.
