MIRI: Three local men were arrested on Friday afternoon after a 50-year-old man reported his car had been stolen from a residential area in Tukau Bakam on Tuesday (Jan 25).
Police chief ACP Hakemal Hawari said two suspects, aged 40 and 57, were picked up at a workshop in Jalan Padang Kerbau around 11.35am with the third suspect detained in Kampung Sealine, Jalan Lutong -Kuala Baram, later the same day.
Police also recovered the stolen car’s engine as well as a towing truck, he said.
Investigations are continuing.
