SIMUNJAN: A landslide that struck Kampung Sengkujang last Tuesday damaged two houses, though no injuries were reported.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received a report about the incident at 3.13 pm on Sunday (Feb 2) and dispatched three firefighters from the Simunjan fire station to the scene.
“Upon arrival, the team found that the landslide had affected two houses. The homeowners informed them that the incident had occurred on Jan 28 at 5.14 pm,” Bomba said in a statement.
As a precaution, firefighters installed safety ropes at the site and advised residents to remain vigilant and exercise caution.
