KUCHING: Various religious bodies in Mukah have been told to apply for the assistance available under the Unit for Other Religions (Unifor) in order to benefit from it.

Minister of Welfare, Community Well-being, Women, Family and Childhood Development Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah said Sarawak was the only state that had established Unifor. She hoped all other religious bodies in Mukah would apply for assistance to upgrade or expand their buildings.

“The establishment of Unifor is a conscious effort by the state government to ensure there is inclusivity,” she said in a statement yesterday.
