MIRI: An early morning fire destroyed three stalls at Ferry Point Jalan Kuala Baram today.
Lutong Fire Station received an emergency alert at 2.46am, prompting a swift response.
Firemen, led by their chief Henry Jugah, arrived at the scene to find the fire had already spread from booth number 11 to booths 12 and 10.
The fire caused extensive damage, destroying approximately 40 percent of stall 11, 20 percent of stall 12 and 10 percent of stall 10.
Firefighters managed to control the blaze, preventing further spread.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. After concluding their operations, the firefighters returned to the station.
