SARIKEI: Local rep Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii has donated seven cattle to various villages around Meradong for the sacrificial rite for Aidiladha.
The cattle were distributed one each to Kampung (Kpg) Bintangor, Kpg Malaysia, Kpg Skim B Meradong, Kpg Darul Falal Sg Gemuan, Kpg Selemas, Surau Al-Muhajirin Taman Bintang, and a government agency.
This gesture is aimed at supporting the local communities in observing the significant religious event of Aidiladha.
Representing Huang, Gung Chiu Kion attended the Aidiladha and sacrificial rite ceremony at Kampung Selemas recently.
He participated in the event where the sacrificial cattle were distributed to the needy residents of Kampung Selemas.
The sacrificial activities, including the slaughtering and meat processing, were conducted in a communal spirit with the villagers working together.
This collaborative effort not only ensured the smooth execution of the sacrificial rites but also strengthened the community bonds among the residents.
