KAPIT : Bukit Goram assemblyman Jefferson Jamit Unyat who visited Kapit Rehabilitation Centre at Taman Cham Ung Hua here recently has pledged to donate RM5,000 to help the centre buy a van for its inmates. He hoped other generous individuals and corporate bodies will also chip in to help the centre achieve its objective.
Accompanying him to the cent re were Kapi t Wel far e Officer Peter Gabong, assistant welfare officer Azizul Jumli and chairperson of the centre MoonlyTiang. Upon arrival Jamit and his group were accorded a warm welcome by the centre’s management staff and inmates.
