Ministry holds engagement session to outline vision

KUCHING: An engagement session was held on Wednesday (Jan 24) to provide an overview on the Ministry of Education, Innovation and Talent Development’s (MEITD) initiatives and vision.

During the session, Education, Innovation and Talent Development Minister Datuk Seri Roland Sagah Wee Inn was briefed by MEITD Datuk Azmi Bujang.

The briefing then proceeded to the launching ceremony of the MEITD Organisation Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP) guidebook, presided by Sagah.

Six agencies under the purview of MEITD also have successfully completed their respective OACP documents, namely the Sarawak Tropical Peat Research Institute (TROPI), Sarawak Biodiversity Centre (SBC), Sarawak Research and Development Council (SRDC), CRAUN Research, Sarawak Skills Development Centre (SARAWAK SKILLS) and Centre for Technology Excellence Sarawak (CENTEXS).

The head of agencies presented their OACP book to Azmi while witnessed by Sagah, deputy minister Datuk Francis Harden Hollis and Sarawak Integrity and Ombudsman Unit (UNION) representatives.

Sagah expressed his gratitude for the dedication of MEITD officers and agencies for their commitment towards the organisation’s goals and the larger vision of achieving high income and developed status by 2030.
