KUCHING: Damai Lagoon Resort has unveiled a series of Chinese New Year (CNY) offerings, blending festive dining and holiday stays for families, friends and corporate groups.
The promotions include CNY’s Eve set dinners, a buffet celebration and a limited-time holiday accommodation package, all scheduled around mid-February 2026.
Resort management said the curated programmes aim to provide guests with a complete festive experience, combining traditional cuisine, cultural ambience and seaside hospitality.
“At the heart of the celebration is the Chinese New Year’s Eve Eternal Blossom Set Dinner at the Puteri Ballroom, priced from RM1,298 for ten persons.
“The set dinner features classic celebratory dishes symbolising prosperity, reunion and abundance, served in a formal banquet setting suitable for extended families and group gatherings,” it said.
Another highlight is the Dynasty Delights Set Dinner, priced at RM688 for five to six persons, offering a more intimate dining option.
This set includes a balanced selection of seafood, poultry, vegetables and traditional soups, designed to reflect Chinese culinary heritage and festive symbolism.
Both Chinese New Year’s Eve set dinners will be held on February 16, 2026, from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm at the Puteri Ballroom.
Guests who book through the resort’s Insiders Club application will enjoy a 20 per cent discount, while in-house guests receive an additional 10 per cent reduction.
For diners preferring a wider variety, the Chinese New Year’s Eve Buffet Dinner, themed ‘Golden Harmony’, will be hosted at Horizon All Day Dining.
“The buffet is priced at RM138 for adults, RM98 for senior citizens aged 60 and above, and RM48 for children aged between four and eleven.
“The buffet spread features roasted meats, seafood, dim sum, desserts and festive favourites, presented in a celebratory setting designed for all-age enjoyment.
“The buffet dinner will also take place on February 16, 2026, from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm, coinciding with Chinese New Year’s Eve celebrations,” it said.
In addition to dining promotions, Damai Lagoon Resort is offering the Fortune Gallop Holiday Package for guests seeking a festive getaway.
The package is priced at RM688 nett for two days and one night, and RM1,288 nett for three days and two nights.
It includes daily breakfast for two persons, early check-in and late check-out, subject to room availability and added resort privileges.
Guests will also receive 10 per cent off total food and beverage bills, excluding alcohol and promotional items, along with a RM30 resort credit voucher.
The holiday package is valid from February 17 to 19, 2026, aligning with peak festive travel and family reunion periods.
Resort officials said the package targets families and couples seeking a relaxed post-festival retreat by the sea.
All promotions are subject to prevailing Sales and Service Tax, with terms and conditions applying to bookings and discounts.
