MIRI: The decomposed body of an Indonesian man was found by the public at KM 11 of Jalan Bukit Peninjau, after Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Kelapa Sawit 2, at 1.30pm today.
Sarawak Traffic Enforcement and Investigation Department chief Supt Axelson Naga Chabu said that based on information, it was learned that the victim, identified as Safaruddin Siong, lost control of the motorcycle he was riding on and was thrown into a drain.
“His body was found by a grass cutter and, based on the decay that had set in, he is believed to have died more than 24 hours ago,” he said in a statement today, adding that no documents were found on the victim at the scene. – Bernama
