KUCHING: A community service counter will be set up at Song Kheng Hai Hawker Centre tomorrow for those who want to apply for the Bantuan Sara Hidup 2019 (MyBSH).
According to a press release, the programme is a project by Team Dynamic Kuching Community Service will be divided into two sessions; one from 10am to 12pm, and another from 1.30pm to 4pm.
All eligible applicants are reminded to bring along their identity card (IC) and their bank account number for registration.
To be eligible to receive MyBSH, the applicant must be a Malaysian citizen with a household income of RM4,000 and below; have a Malaysian spouse with MyKad or a spouse with Permanent Resident (MyPR or MyKAS) status and have Malaysian children with MyKad or MyKid.
The child has to be either biological or adopted, registered with the National Registration Department (NRD).
Apart from being Malaysian with MyKad or MyKid, the child has to be below the age of 18 with no source of income.
Malaysians above the age of 19, who are still pursuing their studies full-time at higher institutions of learning or those with disabilities registered with the Welfare Department, can also apply.
