KUCHING: In conjunction with the Raya and the recently-concluded Gawai celebrations, the State Library held a ‘Gawai Raya 2017’ celebration.
The half-day event was held at the library’s premises at Petra Jaya here yesterday.
Guests were treated to a live performance full of singing and dancing as well as to scrumptious food such as various Raya cakes and biscuits, chicken rice, and ‘rojak’.
A laid-back event, it allowed for guests to mingle with one another and spend time together which helps to create new bonds and strengthens current ones.
